Event Description: As arts and culture organizations, we have the unique opportunity to create meaningful, emotional, and sensory experiences. However, it can sometimes be challenging to figure out how to adapt or describe these experiences for audiences with diverse sensory needs. Join us for an engaging afternoon with accessibility consultant Charlotte ‘Chuck’ Gruman. Together, we’ll explore the importance of understanding how audiences interact with sensory input, practical tools to help them feel prepared and welcome in your space, and actionable ways to make your programming more sensory-friendly.
